The Interior Designers Of Nova Scotia (IDNS) is thrilled to announce 32 year member, Fran Underwood, has received the IDC Fellowship. The award is the highest level of membership granted by the association to those members who have made significant contributions to the association through distinguished service to the betterment of IDC, or the interior design profession.
Fran has spent 4 very active decades in the Interior Design profession and has been an indispensable part of the IDNS since 1987. She has served on the IDC board for 14 years -- 8 years in the national presidential stream and 6 years on IDNS Board, including President 2013-14. She has taken every opportunity to be an advocate for the IDNS, IDC and the profession. She has been an integral member contributing her time and energy to the growth of the industry and shaping the IDNS into the respected, legislated, professional group that it is today.
Fran will be honored with her Fellowship this week at the Interior Designers of Canada’s (IDC’S) annual meeting in Vancouver. @idccanada
